Subject: HELLO
Dear,
It is my humble pleasure to write this letter irrespective of the fact that you do not know me. However, I came to know of you in my private search for a reliable and trustworthy person that can handle a confidential transaction of this nature in respect to our investment plans in real estate. Though I know that a transaction of this magnitude will make any one apprehensive and worried, but I am assuring you that all will be well at the end of the day.  Let me start by first, introducing myself properly to you.  I am Peter Okoye, a Branch Manager at one of the standard trust bank  Nigeria Plc,Lagos. A foreigner, Late Nicholas Owen, a Civil engineer/Contractor with the federal Government of Nigeria, until his death three years ago in a ghastly air crash, banked with us here at the standard bank plc,Lagos. He had a closing balance of USD$25.5M (Twenty five Million, Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) which the bank now unquestionably expects to be claimed by any of his available foreign next of kin. Or,alternatively be donated to a discredited trust fund for arms and ammunition at a military war college here in Nigeria. Fervent valuable efforts made by the standard trust bank to get in touch with any of late Nicholas Owen_s next of kin (he had no wife and children)has been unsuccessful. The management under the influence of our chairman and board of directors, are making arrangement for the fund to be declared "UNCLAIMABLE " and then be subsequently donated to t! he trust fund for Arms and Ammunition which will further enhance the course of war in Africa and the world in general. In order to avert this negative development. Myself and some of my trusted colleagues in the bank, now seek for your permission to have you stand as late Nicholas Owen_s next of kin. So that the fund (USD$25.5M), would be subsequently transferred and paid into your bank account as the beneficiary next of kin through our overseas corresponding bank. All documents and proves to enable you get this fund have been carefully worked out and we are assuring you a 100% risk free involvement.
Your share would be 30% of the total amount. While the rest would be for me and my colleagues for purchase of properties in your country through you/your Company. If this proposal is OK by you, then kindly get to me immediately via my e-mail (pokoye_mg@mail.com) furnishing me with your most confidential telephone and fax , so I can forward to you the relevant details of this tran! saction. Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
Best Regards.
Peter Okoye
Branch Manager,
STANDARD TRUST BANK PLC LAGOS
From Jules Winfield (BMFJules1@hotmail.com) to Peter Okoye (Jan. 28)
Dear Peter Okoye,
My name is Jules Winfield and I am CEO of Blumpkin Inc. out of Los Angeles California.  You probably heard of our slogan:  "Blumpkins in the morning, they are fantastic."  I read your email and found it quite interesting.  I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Owens death in a plane crash.  I lost my wife Jewel three years ago in a plane crash.  It is a very tough thing.  Coincidently, she too was civil engineer so you can imagine how this story hits close to home.  Anyways, I want to help you.  Please tell me more.  The best way to reach me is by email as I am on the road right now.
Anxiously awaiting your response,
Jules Winfield

I will be here to guide you through the entire process, to ensure a hitch free transfer of the fund to the account you are going to nominated as the beneficiary to this fund. As soon as you assure me of your interest and willingnes to stand as the next of kin to the late Nicholas Owen for official claim of the US$25.5M, I shall furnish you the detailed data of Nicholas Owen's closing balance account and his personal data before his death. This will enable you have fore knowledge of the Mr Owen and for proof of relationship.

From Jules Winfield to Peter Okoye (Jan. 29)
Dear Peter,
Sounds like a good plan.  I am willing to say I am the late Nicholas Owen?s next of kin.  Only one thing concerns me though.  I am an African American and Nicholas sounds like he was as white as Wonder bread.  If he was white, they might not believe I am his next of kin.  What will we do?  I have attached a recent photo of me so you can see if I look like him.   Don't be alarmed by the photo as I do have front teeth.  They were knocked out while I was playing ice hockey but I have had dental work since then and they are back to normal.
Let me know what to do next.
Jules
PS - I happened to notice that your last name is Okoye.  You wouldn?t happened to be related to the famous Kansas City Chiefs running back Christian Okoye?  He was one of my favorite football players and it would be an honor to know one of his family members.

From Jules Winfield to Peter Okoye (Jan. 30)
Dear Peter,
Good, I'm glad the color of my skin will not ruin the transaction.  Good idea saying I am the next of kin as an in-law.  You could just say his dead sister was a mudshark or coal burner.   You know the saying,  once you go black, you never go back.  I have attached the application of claims as a word document to say on the cost of faxing to Nigeria.  I will memorize the details of Mr. Owens demise for authenticity purposes.  Peter, you picked the right person for the job.
Peter, I noticed you did not answer me when I asked you if you were related to Christian Okoye.  Living in a famous family member's shadow is nothing to be ashamed of.  If you would rather not talk about your famous family member because of jealousy reasons, I simply ask you provide me with an autograph.  He is my favorite Nigerian running back of all-time.
Your friend,
Jules

Dear Jules,
i am sorry i did not anwser the question,i am not related to cristian okoye if I am, why should i hide myself or my family.please i will monitor the application.  All the best.

Peter
From Jules Winfield to Peter Okoye (Jan. 30)
Dear Peter,
You are right.  Why would anyone hide the fact that they are related to the great "Christian Okoye."  That was just foolish thinking on my part.  Anyway, while you are monitoring the application, tell me more about yourself.  Are you married?  Do you have children?  It helps me trust people when I know a little more about them.  Also, since you know what I look like, will you send me a photo of yourself?  It would be nice to know what you look like.
Your friend,
Jules
From Peter Okoye to Jules Winfield (Jan. 31)
Dear Jules,
I am sorry that you have to fax the application to the bank not my email, this have to be official it is not email affair please do as i instructed so that we don't make mistake please. The director international remittance will not have time to check your email, ifyou send the application by fax it will get to his table immediately and proper attention will be taking. The application format i sent to you by mail is a guide line on how you will address the application form to the director internation remittance of my bank. Peter.
From Jules Winfield to Peter Okoye (Jan. 31)
Dear Peter,
I will fax the document but I will have you know that I am a little annoyed that they will not accept the emailed document.  If you opened the word document that I attached, you would have noticed that I followed the guidelines perfectly.  What type of bank does not accept documentation electronically?  In today?s world of technology, e-signiture is a perfectly acceptable way of conducting business transactions.  Your bank frightens me.
You have not addressed any of my questions and you still have not sent a photo.  Why?
Your friend,
Jules
From Peter Okoye to Jules Winfield (Feb.  3)

From Jules Winfield to Peter Okoye (Feb. 3)
Dear Peter,
I understand your position but you have to appreciate the situation.  All I?m saying is that it is a little strange that the bank has to be faxed the info as opposed to forwarding the word document that is the same thing.    By the way, I keep trying that fax number and it doesn?t go through.  Is there another number that I can fax it to?  This is the exact reason I don?t like the fax.  It?s so 1990.  I will attach the word document again.  Maybe you can print it out and fax it for me.  I?m trying real hard here Peter.  Help me help you.
I look forward to receiving your photo.
Thanks buddy,
Jules

From Jules Winfield to Peter Okoye (Feb. 7)
Oh, now you've done did it.  First of all dick head, I try to call you and I've tried to fax the bank.  It's not my fault that your third world country doesn't have working telephones.  Second of all, you have the nerve to say I lie.  Ever heard of looking in the mirror?  You won't send me a picture.  What are you hiding?  Are you a white boy?  You sure are acting like one.  I bet you are.  Damn, all this time I thought I was working with a brother.  And to think I thought you were related to the great Christian Okoye.  Third of all, so help me God if you cut me out of this deal I rat you out to the bank you bastard!  As the lord is my name, And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger.  And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you!  I will put my Hush Puppies up yo ass.  Now you have made a brotha mad.  Can a nigga get a table dance?  Go ahead, I can't wait to tell the bank on you.  Sucker.

From Dirk Diggler (dirkdiggy@hotmail.com)  to Peter Okoye (Feb. 7)
Dear  Mr. Peter Okoye,
My name is Dirk Diggler, attorney at law, and I represent Mr. Jules Winfield.  My client has asked me to contact you on his behalf.  I am 1/3 of the "Diggler, Bukakke, & Shapiro"law firm.
It has come to our attention that you had contacted our client on January 28th, 2003, about an opportunity to have the funds of the late Nicholas Owen released.  The funds totaled up to the sum of $25.5 million, in which Mr. Winfield was entitled 30%.
While we appreciate your enthusiasm to our client, we hope you understand our need to protect his best interest.   On January 29th, you and Mr. Winfield had a verbal and electronically written agreement to enter a business relationship.  We do not wish to loose these rights, so we are put in a rather difficult position when we have to contact you regarding your recent behavior.  My client has done everything that has been asked of him and we have the documentation to prove it.  Your grounds for dismissing him from this transaction are based on the fact that he has not called you.  Mr. Winfield has shown a willingness to attempt to call you on numerous occasions but has had no success getting through.  By stature 1163.45 of the United Sates Constitution and code 690U812 of the World Governing Law Act, electronic email is considered perfectly normal and legal way to communicate in business transaction.  By cutting my client out of this transaction on the grounds of not communicating with you, you are violating these laws.
Therefore, on behalf of the client we represent, we have no choice but to demand that you immediately include Mr. Winfield in this transaction. As a result, we demand that you do the following to avoid further legal action, fines or imprisonment:
1. Include Mr. Winfield on all future transactions.
2. After the funds are released, Mr. Winfield will receive the agreed upon sum of 30%
3. We will need you to reply to us in writing that you have complied with these requirements.  Electronic email will be sufficient.
We wish to resolve this matter in a friendly way, so please cooperate with us in respecting our demands. Your prompt attention to this matter is required and appreciated.  If you choose not to cooperate, we will be forced to take legal action and contact the Standard Trust Bank PLC, Nigerian Government, Nigerian Police, NAACP, and PETA.
Sincerely,
Dirk Diggler
From Peter Okoye to Jules Winfield (Feb.  10)
Dear Dirk,

Dear Mr. Peter Okoye,
My client has informed me that you have not contacted him since you tried to break the agreement.   I have included his email to me (scroll down).  This email is written documentation that you are not living up to your end of the deal by not cooperating.  Maybe this how they do business in Nigeria but it doesn't fly in the United States of America.  Unfortunately, I'm going to have to do what I love most, "sue."  I will contact the proper people in regards to this matter, starting with Mr. Hassan Danjuma.  Please have your attorney get in contact with me ASAP (if you even have one).  If you don't, I suggest you find one immediately.

Dear Mr. Diggler,
To date, I have not heard from Mr. Peter Okoye.  He is conveniently avoiding me.  I have given him the requested items and lived up to my part of the agreement thus far.  I'm tired of it and I want to go with plan B.  Let's sue him and tell the bank & the police.  I also want to tell NAMBLA, PETA, SPCA, and FUBAR.  I want you to contact local and national newspapers and TV Stations.  Make him pay Dirk!
Here is all the contact info he has given me about the bank:

EBOLA MONKEY NOTE:  At this point, I knew Peter was ignoring us so I figured I would tell his phony bank about his evil scheme.
From Jules Winfield to Peter Okoye (Feb. 14)
To whom it may concern and Mr. Hassan Danjuma (Director, Intl Remmit. Dept),
My name is Jules Winfield and I am American.  I want to warn the officials at the Standard Trust Bank that a man named Peter Okoye is attempting to steal the hard earned money of the late Nicholas Owen.   Peter first contacted me on January 28th, 2003 about this idea.  He threatened to kill my family and me if I didn't help him steal the money.  He sent me a picture (which I have attached), of his Ebola Monkey.  He said he had trained this monkey to attack humans and he would release it in my house to go after my family if I did not cooperate.  This scared the hell out of me.  I never wanted to take Mr. Owens money.  Be very leery of anyone who wants to have the Owen's funds released to a so-called "next of kin."  Mr. Okoye told me that I was to pose as a brother-in-law.  My conscious finally got the best of me so I have decided to warn you, regardless if I am attacked by the "Ebola Monkey."  From what I can gather from Mr. Okoye, he is a gay, white man in his 30's with a low self-esteem and very hard on the eyes.  He also hates black people and claims to be a card-carrying member of the KKK.  Sometimes he says he is related to Christian Okoye (greatest Chiefs running back of all-time) for attention but that is not true either.  Please be aware of this man, as he will rob you of your money.  If he doesn't do it personally, he will threaten someone else into doing it.  If you should have any questions, please email me.
Thank you,
Jules Winfield
